To address Africa’s socio-economic and environmental challenges both innovative entrepreneurs and new business models must emerge. We believe that the private sector will be at the forefront of finding solutions to what have been historically intractable issues throughout the Continent. IIF and Impact Amplifier supports this vision by providing investment readiness and acceleration services to impact enterprises and inclusive businesses  which combines  financial success with positive social and environmental change.

We are launching our third Annual Deal Summit on November 30, 2021 and the preparatory Investment Readiness Accelerator to provide the business development support required to scale impact enterprises and link them with interested investors. Participants will gain the key ingredients to become ready for investment, including:

  • Constructing an impact case; 
  • Market access, sales and distribution; 
  • Strategic planning; 
  • Financial modelling and planning; 
  • Writing an investment case to secure funding; and
  • Pitching to investors.  

The three month accelerator is bespoke and designed around the specific needs of each participating business. The programme will conclude with the Deal Summit where participants will be introduced to a community of curated investors.

The IIF Annual Deal Summit is an initiative of the Impact Investors’ Foundation which seeks to address a critical gap in the ecosystem which has resulted in the limited number of investment-ready businesses in Nigeria.

  • Access free specialised coaching and training worth thousands of dollars from an industry leading advisory firm to help you become impact and investment ready;
  • INetwork with a range of providers of impact capital from across the world;
  • Increase your attractiveness to impact investors and your chances of securing a deal by participating at the IIF Annual Deal Summit; and
  • Be matched with potential impact investors.


Companies Must:

  • Have been in operations for 2+ years  
  • Be commercially viable (i.e. does not rely on grants) or can demonstrate that commercial viability is achievable within a likely expansion scenario
  • Have clear impact focus or orientation, whether social or environmental or company involves people living at the base of the pyramid as customers, retailers, distributors of suppliers (at least 25% of revenue or income comes from BOP)
  • Not have raised more than US$5M externally  
  • seek ticket size between US$200,000 – US$5m 
  • Commit senior company executives (preferably the CEO) to take a substantial role in training and matching activities.

Note: Companies must be addressing social and or environmental issues in sectors such as  Health, Education, Agriculture, Renewable/Clean Energy, Financial Inclusion, Transportation, Job Creation or other key issues confronting Nigeria. Companies must be providing essential services to vulnerable people at the base of the pyramid.
