Mrs. Toyin Adeniji is an Executive Director at Nigeria’s Bank of Industry (BOI). She is a  financial services professional with over 30 years in international development  finance and MSME development. She is passionate about accelerating the growth  of enterprise and small businesses. Mrs. Adeniji spent 23 years with the IFC/World  Bank and was instrumental in the development and growth of IFC’s Women In  Business (WIN) program. 

Mrs. Adeniji leads the Growth Platform housed at BOI. She works with a formidable  team that have progressively deepened the “digital” footprint of reaching the  unreached and breaking new frontiers. She also developed and led the  implementation of the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme  (GEEP) – a microcredit scheme under the National Social Intervention Program of  the Federal Government of Nigeria. 

Mr. Adeniji sits on several boards including the Small and Medium Enterprises  development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). She is a Fellow of the Institute of  Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She holds a B. SC. Degree in Civil  

Engineering; and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the  Harvard Business School.
