The Innocent C. Chukwuma Award for Social Impact (ICA) post-award reception was held in Lagos, Nigeria on April 6, 2023. The post-award which took place at The Capital Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, hosted experts and professionals in the social impact space in Nigeria, including the winner of the maiden edition of the Award; Mrs. Nkem Okocha, founder of Mamamoni Empowerment Foundation.

The Innocent C. Chukwuma Award for Social Impact (ICA) post-award reception was held in Lagos, Nigeria on April 6, 2023. The post-award which took place at The Capital Club, Victoria Island, Lagos, hosted experts and professionals in the social impact space in Nigeria, including the winner of the maiden edition of the Award; Mrs. Nkem Okocha, founder of Mamamoni Empowerment Foundation.

The objectives of the post-award reception were to:
• Socialise the award and broaden its partnership base to guarantee its continuity beyond the first edition.
• Recognise the impact that the grant awarded to the recipient of the maiden edition of the ICA, Mamamoni Empowerment Foundation.
• Officially announce the call for nominations for the second edition of the award.

The ICA post-event was declared open by the chief executive officer of the Impact Investors Foundation, Ms. Etemore Glover. The event was attended by the CEO of Agon Workman, Mr. Nnanna Ude, and Mr. Collins Onuegbu, Founder and CEO of Signal Alliance; co-sponsors and partners of the Innocent C. Chukwuma Award for Social Impact.

Other dignitaries at the event were; the CEO of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). Mr. Laoye Jaiyeola; Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli, The Executive Chairman of Sahel Capital among others. Mrs. Josephine Chukwuma, the widow of the late Innocent Chukwuma attended the event.
Nkem Okocha, Founder of Mamamoni Empowerment Foundation, the award winner of the maiden edition of the Innocent C. Chukwuma Award for Social Impact shared her success story of the impact the grant awarded to her foundation had achieved. The grant was invested to empower low-income young girls and women who do not have any source of livelihood on vocational, business, digital, and financial literacy skills to learn tech skills in English French, and Pidgin.

Organizations such as the Ford Foundation, Sahel Capital, Project Alert Nigeria, Nigerian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing (NABII), Bank of Industry, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Mamamoni Foundation, Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF), Agon Workman, DevEast and Signal Alliance Technologies Holdings, and the Impact Investors Foundation (IIF) attended the event.
