The Impact Investors Foundation (IIF), a driving force behind unlocking private capital for social investments in Nigeria, invites experienced strategy and governance professionals to submit proposals for a transformative 3-month consultancy. This vital engagement aims to craft a forward-thinking organisational strategy and robust governance framework to propel IIF into its next phase of growth and impact.

About IIF
Founded in 2019, IIF is a trusted multi-sector collaborative dedicated to strengthening Nigeria’s impact investing ecosystem. As the Secretariat for the Nigerian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing (NABII), IIF fosters social enterprise growth and inclusive market infrastructure, helping channel capital to sustainable solutions that drive development and social progress.

As IIF expands, it faces an evolving environment marked by increased competition for talent, shifting workforce dynamics, and accelerating digital transformation. To sustain its leadership and operational excellence, IIF requires a comprehensive strategic renewal and governance strengthening. This consultancy will refine IIF’s strategic roadmap for 2025–2028, optimize organisational structures, and enhance governance systems, ensuring the Foundation remains agile, accountable, and an employer of choice.

Scope and Objectives
The selected consultant will lead a detailed organisational review and stakeholder engagement process, culminating in:

• A clear, actionable 3-year strategic roadmap aligned with IIF’s mission and sectoral trends.
• Strengthened Board and Committee governance to enhance oversight and strategic alignment.
• Optimised organisational design and internal processes for improved efficiency and collaboration.
• An updated Standard Operating Manual (SOP) codifying core operations and human capital management.
• Facilitated Management and Board retreats for strategic reflection, consensus-building, and alignment.
• Enhanced talent management frameworks and digital adoption recommendations. 

Who Should Apply
This consultancy is open to individuals or firms with deep expertise in organisational strategy, governance frameworks, and human capital development, particularly within nonprofit, social investment, or development sectors. Experience facilitating retreats, embedding digital tools, and working in Nigeria’s impact ecosystem will be highly valued.
