Our Journey
The Impact Investors Foundation (IIF) began its journey in 2019, evolving from its roots as the Impact Investing Alliance of Nigeria (IIAN). Established as a multi-sector collaborative, IIF was founded by a visionary group of organisations—including the Ford Foundation, Africa Capital Alliance, BusinessDay Media, Bank of Industry, and Dalberg Advisors—with a shared mission: to catalyse private capital for social impact in Nigeria.
At the heart of IIF’s work is a strong commitment to collaboration. Recognising that stakeholders are key to driving meaningful change, the foundation has built strategic partnerships across sectors to eliminate barriers to impact investing and create an enabling environment where social investments can thrive.
